Found in a scientists notebook  Released into the walled in city of Cage the virus quickly spread through most of the population, first killing them before bringing them back as the undead. With no reasoning or fear the creatures seemed to have one purpose, the consumption of fresh human flesh.
the reason for all this?
No one is really sure how it happens, if the city was created for this purpose all along, but with the virus running rampant in the city Willtosurvive.net is now broadcasting the struggle of the few survivors 24/7. For a cost of course. Though people call this horrendous no one is about to enter the city to save the people still living, and the site gets millions of hits daily from all over the world. With no tv, internet or phone access the citizens are oblivious to this. Well, most of them, though some people with fighting and medical training have apparently been planet, in order to help others and insure the 'game' continues for longer.

With some not dying after being bitten side effects are beginning to show up. Some are simply getting a strange coloration to their eyes, while others loose all sense of fear, which can become a risk to their own lives. For some surviving might be worse, with the sudden urge for human flesh being a lot hard to deal with when you still have your morals.
