The days of the First Generation Mew Project(Mew Ichigo and the gang) and the Second Generation Mew Project(Mew Berry) are long gone. It has been twenty years since the Mews defeated the Saint Rose Crusaders. That is in the past now. Well, except for the fact that most are still alive and have children. Berry and Tasuku married, but currently have no children like Ichigo and Masaya; Zakuro in an unexpected twist, married Ryou and had two sons and a daughter; Pudding, at an age of 16, married Tart and had a daughter; Lettuce, as expected married the alien Pie, and had a daughter, and Keiichiro married an alien rival of Kish, Pie, and Tart named Cake and also had a daughter and a son. These descendants are all destined. For more than just being Mews, but being defenders against more than just aliens or beefed up humans, they’ll have to face the Mirror Mews, but more than that they’ll have to face themselves. Curses have been cast, rivals made, now only the future can take hold.

Now it is present day Japan, a place full of technology. The streets are busy, but so are the forces of nature. In this age of technology, there are many computer viruses and glitches. That is what caused the first outbreak of Mews. Remember the Mew Mew ray gun from the first book? And the one that Ryou shot himself with? Computer controlled. It reacted badly to a glitch and injected many girls with two genes, like Mew Berry. Many of these girls held a grudge against their creator, and decided to form teams called ‘Mirror Mews’ to fight their rival mews, while the other mews recreated teams called ‘Mew Mews’ based off the team from twenty years earlier to fight the Mirror Mews. Thus began this adventure.
